The Petersburg City Public Schools district believes in providing staff, parents and other stakeholders with fast, accurate and honest information. We use the Alert Now phone database to share important information from time to time. Parents should ensure that their correct contact numbers are on file at their child's school so that these messages can reach them. Parents may also request to be added to our email database, for news releases and other messages from the district.

Each of our schools also has a staff member who serves as a Key Communicator in addition to his or her regular duties. Teachers and other staff members should be familiar with their respective Key Communicator and share information frequently with him or her, to be forwarded to the local media.
